365. {368.} Ekacampakapupphiya
The Sambuddha named Upasanta
was living on a mountainside.
Carrying one campaka bloom
I approached the Ultimate Man.
Happy, with pleasure in my heart,
taking it with both of my hands,
I worshipped the Unconquered One,
the Unexcelled Pacceka-Sage.
In the thirty-one aeons since
I did pÅ«jÄ with that flower,
Iāve come to know no bad rebirth:
thatās the fruit of Buddha-pÅ«jÄ.
The four analytical modes,
and these eight deliverances,
six special knowledges mastered,
I have done what the Buddha taught!
Thus indeed Venerable Ekacampakapupphiya Thera spoke these verses.
