āOf all kinds of fragrant heartwood, red sandalwood is said to be the best. āSeyyathÄpi, bhikkhave, ye keci sÄragandhÄ, lohitacandanaį¹ tesaį¹ aggamakkhÄyati; In the same way, the faculty of wisdom is said to be the best of the qualities on the side of awakening; that is, for becoming awakened. evameva kho, bhikkhave, ye keci bodhipakkhiyÄ dhammÄ, paƱƱindriyaį¹ tesaį¹ aggamakkhÄyati, yadidaį¹ābodhÄya.
