Desire for the Impermanent Interior Ajjhattaaniccachandasutta

ā€œMendicants, you should give up desire for what is impermanent. ā€œYaṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ, tatra vo chando pahātabbo. And what is impermanent? KiƱca, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ?

The eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are impermanent: Cakkhu, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ; tatra vo chando pahātabbo …pe… jivhā aniccā; tatra vo chando pahātabbo …pe… you should give up desire for them. mano anicco; tatra vo chando pahātabbo. You should give up desire for what is impermanent.ā€ Yaṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ, tatra vo chando pahātabboā€ti.
