āMendicants, give up whatās not yours. Giving it up will be for your welfare and happiness. And what isnāt yours? Sights arenāt yours: give them up. Giving them up will be for your welfare and happiness.
Sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and ideas arenāt yours: give them up. Giving them up will be for your welfare and happiness.
