Weaknesses in Training and Mindfulness Meditation SikkhÄdubbalyasutta
āMendicants, there are these five weaknesses when youāre training. āPaƱcimÄni, bhikkhave, sikkhÄdubbalyÄni. What five? KatamÄni paƱca? Killing living creatures, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and intoxicants of beer, wine, and liquor. PÄį¹ÄtipÄto, adinnÄdÄnaį¹, kÄmesumicchÄcÄro, musÄvÄdo, surÄmerayamajjapamÄdaį¹į¹hÄnaį¹āThese are the five weaknesses when youāre training. imÄni kho, bhikkhave, paƱca sikkhÄdubbalyÄni.
To give up these five weaknesses in your training you should develop the four kinds of mindfulness meditation.
