Deeds In Brief Saį¹…khittasutta

ā€œMendicants, I declare these four kinds of deeds, having realized them with my own insight. ā€œCattārimāni, bhikkhave, kammāni mayā sayaį¹ abhiƱƱā sacchikatvā paveditāni. What four? Katamāni cattāri?

  • There are dark deeds with dark results. Atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ kaį¹‡haį¹ kaį¹‡havipākaį¹;
  • There are bright deeds with bright results. atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ sukkaį¹ sukkavipākaį¹;
  • There are dark and bright deeds with dark and bright results. atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ kaį¹‡hasukkaį¹ kaį¹‡hasukkavipākaį¹;
  • There are neither dark nor bright deeds with neither dark nor bright results, which lead to the ending of deeds. atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ akaį¹‡haasukkaį¹ akaį¹‡haasukkavipākaį¹ kammakkhayāya saį¹vattati.
