Bad Conduct Duccaritasutta

“Mendicants, there are these four kinds of bad conduct by way of speech. “Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, vacīduccaritāni. What four? Katamāni cattāri? Speech that’s false, backbiting, harsh, or nonsensical. Musāvādo, pisuṇā vācā, pharusā vācā, samphappalāpo—These are the four kinds of bad conduct by way of speech.” Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri vacīduccaritānī”ti.
