Beneficial Atthasutta

“I will teach you the beneficial and the harmful. … “Atthañca vo, bhikkhave, desessāmi anatthañca. Taṁ suṇātha …pe… And what is the harmful? katamo ca, bhikkhave, anattho? Killing living creatures … Pāṇātipāto …pe… wrong view. micchādiṭṭhi—This is called the harmful. ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, anattho.

And what is the beneficial? Katamo ca, bhikkhave, attho? Not killing living creatures … Pāṇātipātā veramaṇī …pe… right view. sammādiṭṭhi—This is called the beneficial.” ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, attho”ti.
